Just recently, I attended the birth of a friend’s baby. The midwife showed up about

15 minutes after the baby arrived. There were three women there

(our only claim to knowing about delivering a baby was that all had one of our own)

And her partner (who knew even less)

Luckily, everything went well and the baby was fine.
