Kimberly French, CPM

Hello!

Before midwifery became trendy.
Before homebirth was a headline.
Before a dozen new practices opened their doors…

Kim French was already in living rooms, farmhouses, and birth centers — quietly delivering babies and shaping the future of midwifery in Ohio.

She began her apprenticeship in 1984 serving Amish families who trusted her long before licensure or titles. From there, she trained at a free-standing birth center in Texas, mastering physiologic birth in its purest form.

By 1996, she earned her CPM credential when there were only a handful of Certified Professional Midwives in the entire country — and became a preceptor for new midwives in training through the North American Registry Of Midwives.

Forty years, hundreds of births, and generations of families later… Kim remains the midwife mothers call when they want:

  • A VBAC after one, two, or more cesareans

  • A breech birth attended with confidence

  • A twin homebirth with a skilled, steady hand

  • A seasoned expert who has actually seen it all

Kim isn’t new. She isn’t trending. She’s the foundation other midwives learned from.

She is more than a midwife.
She is a keeper of birth wisdom.

And if you’re seeking a safe, supported, deeply informed birth, you deserve a midwife whose experience is older than most practices.
